Why Exorbital Exists

Exorbital wasn’t just an idea—it was born from a painful reality. The broken U.S. healthcare system took more than just money from one of our board members—it took his father. His family came to America in pursuit of opportunity, believing in the promise of a better future. But shortly after arriving, his father was diagnosed with a rare form of Myasthenia Gravis and cancer. With no clear guidance, his parents had to use $100,000 of their settlement money to save his life—a financial burden they kept hidden from their children. He survived, but the cost of survival came with a price they never anticipated.
For nine years, his father lived cancer-free—until it returned in December 2019. He began chemotherapy before COVID-19 swept through the U.S., and his family was confident he would fight it once again. Then came March 18, 2020. Hospitalized in Sarasota with COVID-19 symptoms, his father tested negative for the virus. He was expected to recover. But as the days passed, something felt off. The doctors were overworked, the hospital offered little explanation, and his mother was left in the dark—both medically and financially. One week later, on March 25, 2020, his father passed away at just 45 years old. And within three days of his death, his mother received a bill for $250,000. There were no cost estimates beforehand, no preparation, no transparency—just a shocking, crippling debt delivered in the midst of their grief.
That moment changed everything.
He dove deep into the flaws of the U.S. healthcare system, researching its inefficiencies and uncovering just how many people faced the same injustices. He spoke with countless individuals, each with their own stories of financial ruin, confusion, and helplessness at the hands of an industry designed to keep people in the dark. And then, he took action. A movement to give people power over their own healthcare decisions. This was the foundation for Project Isla, Exorbital’s first step in creating radical transparency in healthcare pricing, hospital quality, and insurance networks. But the vision didn’t stop there. The same broken systems existed in finance, education, real estate, and logistics—and Exorbital was built to fix them all. Because we can’t wait for current systems or the government to solve these problems. We, the people, must build the solution ourselves.
That’s why Exorbital exists.

What is Exorbital?

Exorbital is a technology company engineered to disrupt and redefine entire industries. We build solutions that break through bureaucracy, inefficiency, and stagnation—leveraging AI, automation, and radical transparency to create smarter, faster, and more efficient systems.
Our first public venture, Project Isla, is revolutionizing healthcare transparency, giving people control over costs, providers, and choices. But Isla is just the beginning.
Behind the scenes, Exorbital is developing stealth-mode projects across:
  • Healthcare – Fixing a broken system with data-driven clarity.
  • Real Estate – Reshaping ownership and investment models.
  • Logistics & Aviation – AI-driven efficiency for cargo, travel, and global movement.
  • Finance & AI Automation – Smarter systems, greater accessibility.
  • Education – A new way to learn, built for the real world.
We move at breakneck speed, executing where others hesitate. We don’t follow industry norms—we rewrite them.
